Property Details
This completely renovated former fisherman's cottage is situated at the end of Chapel Street, one of the quaint little ginnells in the old village of Robin Hood's Bay. It retains some lovely old features such as wood panelled walls and beamed ceilings. Because of its position, the cottage has the most fantastic frontal views of the 'scars', the sea and to the right of the towering cliffs of Ravenscar.
Accommodation: entrance into a lounge with wood burning stove and modern, open plan kitchen with dining area. Fairly steep cottage stairs lead to the first floor where there is a bedroom with 2 single (sofa) beds and a small shower room with shower, toilet and washbasin. On the second floor is a bedroom with a double bed, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers. When there are only two people using the cottage, the twin bedroom can be turned into a second lounge with comfortable sofa's and a feature fireplace.
Services: larder fridge, Belfast sink, gas hob with electric grill and oven, microwave, washer/dryer, slim-line dishwasher. Flat screen TV with DVD, iPod docking station/CD player. Gas central heating. Bed linen is provided. Strictly non-smoking! One well-behaved dog is welcome, but not allowed upstairs. Bench in front of the cottage so you can fully enjoy the views.
