This detached property is set in a peaceful location in beautiful countryside at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. It is an excellent touring base, only 1/2 mile from the main road to York (25 miles) and Scarborough (20 miles). Local attractions include Castle Howard, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, historical Whitby, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Dalby Forest and Wolds Way Lavender Farm. Excellent local walks; only 1/2 mile from the Yorkshire Wolds Way, 1/2 mile from village services including pubs, village store/post office, butchers, fish and chip shop and play park. The local market town of Malton is approximately 5 miles away and has a train station. Malton offers restaurants, shopping, a Saturday market and tourist information.

On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table and one bedroom with a single bed and a single pull-out bed. Both bedrooms have great views over the opne fields adjoining the cottage.
